Please read these terms carefully before proceeding with the Service.
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of the Automated Content Engine service (“the Service”) by Pharmacy Digital to the client (“the Client”). By proceeding with the Service, the Client agrees to be bound by these terms.
1.1 Pharmacy Digital will deploy and operate an automated content publishing system on the Client’s website. The system plans, writes, optimises, and publishes SEO-focused blog content on a structured schedule as agreed at the point of setup.
1.2 The number of posts published per month is determined by the package selected at the time of agreement.
1.3 The Service includes topic planning, content creation, SEO structuring, internal linking, automated publishing, and ongoing oversight and refinement by the Pharmacy Digital team.
1.4 Pharmacy Digital reserves the right to make adjustments to the system configuration, publishing schedule, or content approach where necessary to maintain output quality and system performance, providing this does not materially alter the agreed volume or scope.
2.1 A one-off setup fee is payable prior to commencement of the Service. This fee covers configuration, integration with the Client’s website, tone and brand alignment, and initial system testing.
2.2 The setup fee is non-refundable once configuration work has commenced.
2.3 The setup fee cost agreed at the point of sale is specific to that agreement and does not apply to future services or additional deployments.
3.1 Monthly fees are payable in advance on a rolling basis. The setup fee and first monthly payment are both due prior to commencement of the Service.
3.2 Invoices are issued monthly and are payable within 7 days of the invoice date.
3.3 Pharmacy Digital reserves the right to pause the Service if payment is not received within the agreed terms, without liability for any loss of output during that period.
3.4 Pricing is fixed at the rate agreed at the point of sale. Pharmacy Digital reserves the right to review pricing on 30 days written notice.
4.1 The Service operates on a rolling monthly basis with no minimum contract term unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.2 Either party may cancel the Service by providing 30 days written notice.
4.3 Notice must be provided in writing via email to info@pharmacydigital.co.uk. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
4.4 Any monthly fees due during the notice period remain payable in full.
4.5 Upon cancellation, all content published to the Client’s website during the term of the Service will remain live. Pharmacy Digital will not remove published content as part of the cancellation process unless specifically requested by the Client.
5.1 Upon full payment of all fees due, ownership of the published content passes to the Client.
5.2 Content produced but not yet published at the point of cancellation remains the property of Pharmacy Digital unless otherwise agreed.
5.3 Pharmacy Digital retains the right to reference the Client relationship and general service description for marketing and case study purposes, unless the Client requests otherwise in writing.
6.1 The Client is responsible for ensuring that Pharmacy Digital has the necessary access credentials and permissions to publish content to the Client’s website.
6.2 The Client must notify Pharmacy Digital promptly of any changes to their website platform, hosting environment, or login credentials that may affect the operation of the Service.
6.3 The Client is responsible for ensuring that their website remains operational and accessible. Pharmacy Digital accepts no liability for missed publications caused by website downtime, plugin conflicts, or platform changes outside of our control.
6.4 Where the Client requests draft-mode publishing for review prior to going live, it is the Client’s responsibility to review and approve content within a reasonable timeframe. Delays caused by the Client’s failure to approve content do not entitle the Client to additional posts in subsequent months.
7.1 As this relates to SEO, Pharmacy Digital makes no guarantees regarding search engine rankings, organic traffic volumes, or any specific commercial outcomes arising from the Service.
7.2 SEO is a long-term strategy influenced by many factors outside of Pharmacy Digital’s control, including search engine algorithm changes, competitor activity, and the Client’s existing website authority. The Service provides the structured content publishing foundation that supports long-term optimisation.
7.3 Pharmacy Digital will use reasonable professional judgement in topic selection, content structure, and internal linking to maximise the potential SEO benefit of the published content.
8.1 Content is generated and reviewed by Pharmacy Digital using automated systems supported by human oversight. Whilst reasonable care is taken to ensure accuracy, the Client accepts responsibility for reviewing published content and notifying Pharmacy Digital of any factual inaccuracies or compliance concerns promptly.
8.2 The Client acknowledges that content published to their website is subject to applicable regulatory requirements, including but not limited to GPhC guidelines, ASA advertising standards, and relevant medicines advertising regulations. The Client retains responsibility for ensuring their website content meets these requirements.
8.3 Pharmacy Digital will take reasonable steps to avoid publishing content that is misleading, inaccurate, or contrary to applicable guidelines. However, the Client must notify Pharmacy Digital immediately if any published content requires amendment or removal for compliance reasons.
8.4 Pharmacy Digital reserves the right to decline to publish content on specific topics at our discretion where we believe it may conflict with regulatory or ethical standards.
9.1 Pharmacy Digital’s total liability to the Client under this agreement shall not exceed the total fees paid in the three months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
9.2 Pharmacy Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of business, or reputational damage arising from the provision or non-provision of the Service.
9.3 Pharmacy Digital shall not be liable for any loss arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including website outages, third-party platform failures, or search engine algorithm changes.
10.1 Pharmacy Digital reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. Clients will be notified of any material changes in writing with a minimum of 30 days notice.
10.2 Continued use of the Service following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
